The 2021 Virtual OC Día del Niño Festival will take place April 19-25 as part of Arts OC’s Imagination Celebration and the OC Fair & Event Center’s Imaginology Celebration.

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26

Dear Friends,

We are excited to announce that the 2021 OC Día del Niño Festival will return this April as a virtual festival from April 19-25! We look forward to working with you to provide a fun, innovative and engaging family event that makes the most of the virtual medium!

In lieu of in-person workshops and performances, we will be showcasing pre-recorded video presentations, which will be posted online on the Imaginology and OC Día del Niño websites.

En lugar de talleres y presentaciones en persona, mostraremos presentaciones de video pregrabadas, que se publicarán en línea en los sitios web de Imaginology y OC Día del Niño

The 2020 OC Dia del Niño Festival at Imaginology has been cancelled due to the current California health requirements.

Annual Celebration Features Live Performances, Children’s Art Workshops and More!

The OC Día del Niño/Day of the Child Festival is a featured event of Arts OC’s 35th Annual Imagination Celebration, a month-long countywide festival of arts for families and children.

As part of Imagination Celebration, Día del Niño provides fun and free arts activities and experiences that can be enjoyed by the whole family and children of all ages and skill levels. The Dia del Niño stage will feature performances by professional artists, local arts organizations, schools and community groups.

Día del Niño/Day of the Child is a traditional family holiday celebrated in Mexico in April that honors children, celebrates their importance in society and promotes their well–being. The theme for this year’s festival is A Celebration of the Americas (Celebración de las Américas). Schedule subject to change.

The 2020 OC Día del Niño Festival at Imaginology is presented by Arts OC and Media Arts Santa Ana (MASA) in conjunction with OC Fair & Event Center’s Imaginology. Support for OC Día del Niño is provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, California Arts Council, OC Fair & Event Center, Wells Fargo Bank, PBS SoCal, CalOptima and the Pacific Life Foundation. OC Día del Niño/Day of the Child es una fiesta destacado del 34ª Celebración Anual de Imaginación (Imagination Celebration) de Arts OC, un festival de artes para familias y niños celebrado en todo el condado por más de un mes cada primavera.

Día del Niño/Day of the Child es una fiesta familiar tradicional celebrada en México en abril que honra a los niños, celebra su importancia en la sociedad y promueve su bienestar.

Como parte de Imagination Celebration, Día del Niño en Imaginology ofrecerá actividades y experiencias artísticas divertidas y gratuitas que podrán disfrutar toda la familia y los niños de todas las edades y niveles de habilidad. El escenario del Dia del Niño contará con actuaciones de artistas profesionales, organizaciones artísticas locales, escuelas y grupos comunitarios.
